We recap the Kings clowning themselves against the Calgary Flames again, celebrate point milestones for Justin Williams and Anze Kopitar, and decide whether the Kings-Sharks rivalry is now the best in the west and possibly in the entire NHL. Plus, Matt Greene returns to earth and Ben Scrivens owns the month of November.

I always love your podcasts. One thing: Quick allowed a SHG in the home opener against the Rangers. That kicked off his awful slump, yay us.

I loved this: “I need America to get their shit together.” YES. Also: Paul Statsny went down with like back spasms or something but thankfully, he’s back now. America is NOT deep down the middle. Can’t have our centers like getting injured. So I second this notion that everyone needs to stay healthy so America can crush everyone at the Olympics, like they do every year (but this time in what matters most: curling hockey)

Thanks for listening to the podcasts, dude! We appreciate that you do, and it’s awesome to hear that you enjoy them.

Also, you’re right — I totally forgot that Quick’s own-goal happened during a PP for the Kings. Well, good to know SHGs against are unlikely for them unless the goalies flub. Ay ay ay.

And we’re like one or two more US player injuries away from investing in bubbles for the whole lot. Protect yourselves, Americans!! You have a gold medal to bring home!
